On Monday 11th April 39 students and 3 staff from Delasalle Bratislava came to visit us.
We started in the chapel (they were very envious) where we said the Our Father, and its Slovak equivalent Otec Nas. We also shared how we finish our prayers in both countries, as Lasallians, in whatever language we all say ‘Live Jesus in our hearts, Forever’.
We gave them a flavour of live at St Joseph’s by having what we called a speed dating session where the students moved around in five minute intervals sharing stories with our students.

They also got a chance to try a St Joseph’s favourite, Djambo Drums

And one word we all learned in Slovak is the word for hello which they borrow from English ‘Ahoy!’
žiť Ježiša v našich srdciach navždy
